Healdsburg Real Estate & Houses for Sale

Healdsburg

Something for everybody

Healdsburg is where I have called home since 2002. Until then, I had been a confirmed urbanite, having been based in San Francisco for 22 years, and Manhattan prior to that. I had reached the point where I needed to be outside more and where it is warm enough to grow tomatoes. I discovered wonderful Healdsburg—-a small tightknit community with a rich history (Check out the Healdsburg Museum link below) and a definite urban sophistication.

The real estate here is very diverse, offering downtown period bungalows, fixer-uppers, beautiful exurban estates and everything in between. The 4.5square miles that are within city limits lies at the convergence of three acclaimed American Viticulture Association appellations: Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, and Russian River Valley and is consistently named among the 10 best small towns in America.

Healdsburg is also the gateway to Northern Sonoma County which includes Geyserville, the historic town of Asti (The original Italian Swiss Colony) and Cloverdale. These are equally charming communities offering their own attractive qualities.

Something for everybody here in Healdsburg and the surrounding areas. Just be forewarned—Once you own a place here, you’ll be everybody’s best friend.
